Error - 'Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM' When emailing using SMTP settings

This error is caused by the SMTP User having an incorrect or blank password.
​
It is trying to send an email without authentication, therefore anonymously, and failing to do so.
​
Update the email login credentials to resolve the issue.
​
Login details are kept in the following:

  1. Click System

  2. Click Options

  3. Click System Control Options

  4. Click System Format

  5. Click the Blue Arrow next to the System Email Defaults label

  6. Click the Face icon at the top left to open the SMTP Users window

  7. Enter correct credentials in here

  8. Save your changes
