There are a few scenarios that can cause this to happen:
The location is not set on a detail line on the order.
There is no Site code present on the Sub analysis or Location within the Stock Records.
If not above then it is likely that there is stock allocated to orders that have already been delivered or orders that have been closed.
If the location is not set on a detail line, do the following:
Go to Selling or Purchasing and click Orders (this is your batched orders).
Highlight the order with the issue and click Edit.
Highlight the line that has the stock that will not allocate (there may be more than one).
Check that a Location is present.
To know if there is no site code on your location first, check if you can manually allocate the stock:
Go to Stock Control.
Go to Delta WMS.
Go to Warehouse Allocations.
Search for the Stock Code with the issue and see if the Physical shows the amount on the stock record or is 0.
If the Physical is 0 and available to allocate is 0 follow the next steps, if the physical is correct but you cannot allocate, see the steps for stock allocated to orders that have already been delivered or orders that have been closed.
If the site code is missing (physical stock shows as 0):
Go to Stock Control.
Open Stock Records.
Find the stock record that has the issue.
Click Sub analysis.
Highlight the Location you use for your Delta Site.
Add the Site Code to the Sort key of the Location.
You should then be able to go back and manually allocate, or the system will automatically allocate this for you.
If the above steps have not resolved the issue, there is likely stock allocated to orders that have already been delivered or closed.
This can be prevented by ensuring stock is unallocated from an order that will not then go through the Dim-Delta plugin.
If there is no order to unallocate from, contact us and reference the title of this article and include the stock code affected.
