If you have registered the application with an American Version unlock key, modules, prompts and field names will be changed to reflect American language variations.

Every VAT prompt is changed to Tax. The Tax menu contains the options: Tax Return; Tax Rates; Tax Audit.

The TAX Rates window contains an additional menu that enables you to define the Tax Makeup by setting the headings and the elements that are to be used for the Tax Rate Makeup.

You should define the headings first and then use these to show the makeup of the Tax.

Tax rates can be created, amended and deleted from this window.

Tax Codes can be up to 4 characters.

All tax rates are to three decimal places.

This window enables you to set or change the Tax Sort Key and the six labels for the elements that are to be used for the Tax Rate Makeup.

The Tax can contain up to 6 elements. See Order of Set Up.

Press Edit before selecting Show Rate Makeup to open this window.

You can enter % values in some or all of these elements, the total Tax will show at the bottom of the window and be pulled through to the TAX Rates window shown above. All tax rates are to three decimal places.

The labels on this window are set using the Define Headings option.
