use Standard price lists
This is a flexible type of price list which can cope with single item discounts and discounts based on the quantity ordered.
There are two pricing structures:
Single - The discount method you select is applicable to each item ordered.
Quantity - The discount is applied based on the quantity ordered.
There are three pricing methods:
Fixed - The price for each unit is entered and is fixed.
Line Discount - The discount you enter will be applied to the whole line of the order.
Price Discount - The price for each unit is discounted by the amount you enter.
All three methods are available to both Single or Quantity based pricing structures.
A different structure and pricing method can be applied to each product in the price list.
How the discount is displayed in the order
Fixed and Price discounts - the discounted price will be printed in the Price column.
Line discount will appear in the Discount column on the order.
