use Buy One Get One Free
The title is Buy One Get One Free but this type of price list is more flexible than that.
You can select from three different methods:
Free Items - Whenever items of a product are ordered, the Customer will receive a number of items free of charge. The Customer can select the same or different product to receive free of charge.
Examples:
Buy One Get One Free
Buy 6 Get One Free
Buy 12 Get 3 Free
Buy 1 shampoo and get a conditioner Free.
Fixed Price Items - When a Customer orders a product they have the opportunity to buy additional items at a fixed price.
Example:
If the Customer orders 36 bottles of wine at 9.99, they can order a further 12 at 7.99.
It is also possible to create a price list that permits the Customer to receive a different product as their fixed price offer.
Discounted Items - When a Customer orders a product they have the opportunity to buy additional items at a discounted price.
Example:
If the Customer orders 12 bottles of wine, they can order a further 12 at a 5% discount.
It is also possible to create a price list that permits the Customer to receive a different product as their discounted price offer.
When Sales Order is entered:
The offer items will be calculated and added to the order as you tab away from the detail line.
The calculation will be based on the order quantity entered on the detail line.
If the number of items ordered is exactly the minimum required to qualify for the price list, you will be prompted to see if you wish to add the offer items to the order.
Otherwise, the quantity entered in the detail line will be adjusted to incorporate the offer items.
If the order quantity has to be increased to incorporate the offer items, you will be prompted to confirm the increased quantity.
If you selected to offer a Different Product based on Sort Key or User Sorts, then all the products matching that Sort Key or User Sort will be available, you can then select the one you want.
How the discount is displayed in the order
Free Items - for each product ordered, an additional line will be created for the quantity of free items with a zero price.
Fixed Price Items - for each product ordered, an additional line will be created for the quantity of fixed price items requested.
Discounted Items - for each product ordered, an additional line will be created for the quantity of discounted items requested. The price will be the normal purchase price and the discount will be shown as Line Discount.
