Reprint Invoice/Credit Note
Invoices (and Credit Notes) created by the Sales Order Processing unit can be reprinted from the order information held in the system.
Please note! The invoice reprint uses information currently held in the system. This means that if a stock description, stock selling price, customer record, etc. has been updated since the original invoice was printed, the reprint will contain the updated details, i.e. the reprint is not an exact duplicate. If you require an exact duplicate, you will need to use document management software such as ADM.
This can be done from any of the Enquiry windows reached from the Customer Record.
When the Enquiry window is displayed, right clicking on a transaction with an Order Number displays a menu with the options to reprint the Invoice or Credit Note for that order or to view the highlighted order.
Selecting Reprint Invoice/Credit Note will display a message if the selected order was not created by the SOP unit and will return to the order list when you click on OK.
If the selected order was created by SOP, a window will be displayed for you to select the destination for the invoice.
The reprinted invoice will be marked ‘COPY INVOICE’.
Remember that multiple invoices may have been produced from one order, if it was delivered and invoiced in parts.
Open the 360 window to view the full order details for any invoice.
Selecting View Order from the right-click menu will display the order in another enquiry window
On the Sales Ledger Transaction enquiry, you are able to multi select transactions by holding down the keyboard CTRL key while you click on a line.
