Amount should be expressed in pence (no decimal point). The amount field is not required for AUDDIS direct debit instructions.
Reference
This field is usually used to cross-reference the record to your Payroll. If a payment is to be made to a Building Society account then this field must contain the building society account number (often referred to as the Roll Number).
Payments to Building Society accounts
Payments to most building society accounts are made by specifying the sort code and account number of the building society’s head office in fields one and two. The payee’s account number is then specified in the Reference field. The Building Society should be able to advise you of all the relevant details.
Transaction code
A two-digit code enabling the bank and BACS to process the transaction correctly.
