Transaction Search Window
The ABR - Transaction Search window is opened by selecting the Search Criteria button above the Unreconciled Transactions panel in the Automated Bank Reconciliation window.
Use the search options to populate the Unreconciled Transactions panel with those transactions with which you wish to work. You may want to use this option to carry out a reconciliation on a limited number of transactions, e.g. transactions with a particular date.
There are three search options that are available:
Reference - reference given to the transaction;
Date - the system date that applies to the transaction;
Batch Ref - the Batch Reference that was applied;
Period - the period of the transaction.
Click OK to start your search, or Cancel to close the window without searching.
The selector buttons for the Search Options enable you to select a search operator to be applied when the search is run.
Click on Begins to open up the menu.
The Begins/Contains options - enables you to search for accounts that Begin With or Contain the criteria you have entered.
Equal - enables you to search for criteria that contains the exact value you have entered.
Range - enables you to search for a range of transactions between two criteria entries.
