The method of deprecation on the depreciation window defaults to Per (Percentage) and this can be dropped down to Val (Value) and a value can be manually entered into the system to change the value of depreciation for that period.
1) Go to the Assets ribbon and select Depreciation.
2) Highlight an asset and click Per.
3) Select Val from the drop down menu.
4) Enter the required value for the depreciation.
Note: The base value for the next period of depreciation will automatically go back to it's original value. The number of postings can be amended within the Asset to keep it in line with previous depreciation figures
