If the line you are trying to amend on the Works Order is for an Assembly Stock Record, then this error can be caused if the Stock Assembly record includes a Price Record and the Price Record no longer exists.
To check if this is the case do the following:
Ribbon style menu:
Make a note of the code for the Stock record from the Works Order
Select Stock Control from the main menu
Click Stock Records
Locate the Stock Record for the Assembly from the Works Order
Click Assembly
Click Components
Click on each of the Components listed in the lower portion of the window to identify any that are listed as Price Records, as indicated by Price displayed at the top of the page to indicate the record type.
Close the Assemblies window
Close the Stock Records windows
Select Selling or Purchasing from the main menu
Click Price Records
Locate each of the Price Records from the Assembly on the Works Order

Close the Stock Records windows
Select Sales Orders or Purchase Orders from the main menu
Select Records, Price Records
Locate each of the Price Records from the Assembly on the Works Order

If one or more of the Price Records on the Assembly are missing from the Price Records list, then either the Assembly record needs updating (via the Stock Control menu) to include the correct Price Record, or the missing Price Record needs creating or the Works Order needs updating to use a different Assembly record.
