Error - 'You must enter at least one component for this Works Order.'

If the line you are amending is for an Assembly Stock Record, this error can be caused by a Price Record that is listed in the assembly but no longer exists. To check:

  1. Note the code for the Stock record from the Works Order.

  2. Click Stock Control in the main menu.

  3. Click Stock Records.

  4. Locate the Stock Record for the assembly.

  5. Click Assembly.

  6. Click Components.

  7. Click each component listed in the lower panel. Identify any listed as Price Records — these show Price at the top of the page.

  8. Close the Assemblies window.

  9. Close the Stock Records window.

  10. Click Selling or Purchasing in the main menu.

  11. Click Price Records.

  12. Locate each Price Record from the assembly.

  1. Note the code for the Stock record from the Works Order.

  3. Click Records, then Stock Records.

  4. Locate the Stock Record for the assembly.

  5. Click Assembly.

  6. Click Components.

  7. Click each component listed. Identify any listed as Price Records — these show Price at the top of the page.

  8. Close the Assemblies window.

  9. Close the Stock Records window.

  10. Click Sales Orders or Purchase Orders in the main menu.

  11. Click Records, then Price Records.

  12. Locate each Price Record from the assembly.

If one or more Price Records from the assembly are missing from the Price Records list, either: - Update the assembly record in Stock Control to include the correct Price Record. - Create the missing Price Record. - Update the Works Order to use a different assembly record.
