Receipt and then reverse goods received and not invoiced during a period end process

No, unfortunately this is not possible.

When a purchase ledger period end is processed the goods received and not invoiced purchase orders do not get receipted. A single transaction with the inverse value of the purchase orders is posted to the Nominal ledger This is to balance the period.
Then, when the nominal ledger period end takes place this transaction gets reversed. So that these purchase orders are ready and outstanding for receipting in the next period.
