When opening Dimensions, Citrix does not load (Access Hosted Clients)

If you open Dimensions from Access Evo but Citrix does not load automatically, work through these steps in order.

  1. Check whether Citrix appears in the Microsoft app list.

    • Check whether Citrix is listed in the Microsoft app list.

    • If it is listed, set it as the default program for the file type.

  2. Check whether Citrix is installed.

    • If Citrix is not listed, confirm it is installed on your computer.

    • If it is installed, ask your IT team to uninstall and reinstall it.

  3. Reset Citrix Workspace.

    • Right-click the Citrix Workspace tray icon, then click Advanced/Troubleshooting > Reset App Data.

    • If the tray icon is unavailable, uninstall and reinstall Citrix Workspace.

  4. Run Citrix Workspace as administrator.

    • Right-click the Citrix Workspace shortcut, then click Properties > Compatibility. Tick Run this program as an administrator and click Apply.

  5. Check file permissions for ACCESS.LBR.

    • Confirm the local file permissions for ACCESS.LBR are correct and that the file is not set to read-only.

    • If needed, copy the ACCESS.LBR file from a working PC. Back up the original file before making any changes.

  6. Clear browser cache and cookies.

    • Restart the PC and clear your browser cache and cookies.

  7. Contact support.
