You can view the Turnover Analysis tab for an existing supplier record.
The Turnover Analysis Tab on the supplier record displays the current, last and previous years and allows you to drill down on each period's transactions by clicking on the hyperlink.
The values that are displayed on the Turnover Analysis for each period on the supplier record are the total values of all invoices less credit notes. No other transaction type (Payments, debit or credit adjustment) has an affect on this value.
Clicking on the hyperlink takes you to the Purchase Ledger Enquiry or Purchase Transactions Enquiry for the selected supplier and will display all transaction types for the supplier and not just invoices and credit notes.
Note: The total Net value at the bottom of the Purchase Ledger Enquiry screen will show the total Net value for all the transactions and might be different to the Turnover Period value.
If you want the total Net value on the Purchase Ledger Enquiry screen to match the Turnover Period value on your selected supplier, you can do so by following the steps below:
Click Creditors then click Suppliers.
Note: All suppliers are displayed for you. You can narrow down you search using advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the 3 small horizontal lines and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.
Select the checkbox in front of the supplier you wish to view the Turnover Analysis for.
Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand side of the screen. You can close the panel by clicking on the arrow icon on the right-hand side middle of the screen.
Click on the Turnover Analysis tab, then click on the hyperlinked value for a period.
Note: The Sales Transactions enquiry opens for you listing all the transactions that make up the total of the Period Turnover value.
Click on the green funnel icon with an orange circle at the top right hand-side of the Enquiry screen.
The Advanced Filter panel opens.
In the Type field, click on the drop-down arrow at the end of the field and select the checkbox in front of Invoice and Credit Note.
Click Apply at the bottom of the Advanced Filter panel.
The Purchase Ledger Enquiry screen refreshes to show you on invoices and credit notes and the total Net value at the bottom of the screen will now match the Turnover Analysis Period value.
Where your supplier is set up as a currency supplier or any currency supplier, you can see the turnover in the home currency as well as the default currency the supplier is set up with.
The values represent the currency values of all transactions, not transactions that use any other currency or the home currency.
