You can create an update template in Excel to amend customer account details in bulk. Follow the steps below.
Within Excel, click the **ACCESS** tab.
In the Excel Templates section, click Templates.
Click **Setup Update Template**.
Select **New Template** and click **Next**.
Open the **Sales Ledger** drop-down and select **Customer Accounts**.
Click **Next**.
Drag **Customer Code** into the **Column Fields** box.
Select **Customer Code** and click **Set Range**.
Choose the column range for **Customer Code**.
Click the box to the right of the pop-up.
Add your chosen fields from the left hand side to Column Fields.
Click **Next** then click **Next** again.
Select the **Enable changes to be written back to Access accounts** checkbox.
Click Insert. Any of the information highlighted blue is editable.
